OIL OF GLADNESS & JOY

The Bible speaks a lot about Onointing Oil and it was often used by faithful prophets to anoint Kings and High Priests in the Nation of Israel.

King Saul was anointed with Oil, Aaron was also anointed as the first High Priest and later King David was anointed by the prophet Samuel.

In the New Testament a Woman walked into the house of Simon and actually anointed Yeshua's feet with a very expensive oil called Nard.  The aroma filled the entire house and was a very special thing for that Woman to do...she recognised the importance of what she did for her Messiah King.

The carrier Oil used back then would have been Olive Oil, but as fragrances such as Myrrh and Frankincense were also used, they would have also been blended with Olive Oil to make an anointing Oil.  The Rose of Sharon is also mentioned in the Bible and refers to our dear Saviour King Yeshua, who has the wonderful qualities that only a beautiful Rose can replicate in the Flora Kingdom.

"For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing" (2 Corinthians 2:15).

The Bible speaks about the Oil of Gladness and last Wednesday evening when we were anointing various ones in the House of Prayer, the Lord gave me this phrase...the Oil of Gladness. Therefore I looked it up in the scriptures and there is was, in Hebrews 1:9 and also in Psalms and other places as well.

The Oil of Gladness...The Oil Of Joy

The Bible makes reference to the oil of gladness and the word joy many times. A number of essential Oils contain aromas that fill the air and the person with Joy and Gladness.  Christine has been blending oils together for many years and now she has blended an amazing combination of wonderful Oils that bring joy to the heart. This Oil blend is a very effective mood enhancer. Some people have even been able to eliminate or reduce their dependance on antidepressant drugs by inhaling it, diffusing it in their homes, or rubbing it on their bodies.

Our emotions are very important for our health. The Bible tells us that as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.

What comprises our Oil of Gladness Essential Oil Blend?

Bergamot, geranium, mandarin, palmarosa, and rose.

Bergamot...builds confidence and lifts the emotions (It is used in Earl Grey Tea)

Rose... brings balance and harmony and creates a sense of Well-being and self confidence.

Geranium... helps release negative memories and emotions

Manderin... It is comforting, warming and soothing

Palmarosa... It has a fine scent and has a balancing effect on the skin
Scriptural verses that talk about the Oil of Joy and Gladness

Psalm 45:7 “Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.

Psalm 19:8 “The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.”

Proverbs 15:30 “A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones.”

Proverbs 27:9 “Perfume and oil bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of a friend springs from their heartfelt advice.”

Hebrews 1:9 ” You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”

Isaiah 61: ..”to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”

These Bible passages all have one thing in common...they refer to anointing oils (essential oils) as a means to help with joy, gladness, and rejoicing. Our physical state has a lot to do with our emotional state. They go hand in hand. Living Waters Oil blends bring joy to the heart because they reach the limbic system of your brain that stores your emotions, and they are able to release the negative energy and bring in positive thoughts and emotions

We are making our Oils available on our site http://www.zappertek.com/

Many blessings

David & Christine
