SUPER-STORM SANDY: YES 'THIS IS A WAKE-UP CALL'

Below is the rhetoric of why this terrible death dealing Super-storm Sandy is a wake- up call to the USA….BUT it totally ignores the Almighty God who will not be MOCKED.

The Witchcraft (Halloween) & Filth that this Nation has allowed over the years is now being revealed. Many scoff at Gods Word and even PREACH there is NO God. The Lord God will have the LAST SAY.

They can build defences, they can climb the Mountains, but the Lord knows where anyone is at any time. WE CANNOT HIDE FROM THE LORD GOD YAHWEH

As you read the following Yahoo report…think on what is happening in the World today and how far removed from God most people are:

Super-storm Sandy is a "wake up call" that could lead to billion dollar flood defences being created in New York City.

Three of New York's top 10 highest floods have occurred in the last two and a half years, and the latest disaster has fuelled calls for major investment in flood defences.

"If that's not a wake-up call to take this seriously I don't know what is," said climate change expert Ben Strauss.

"The city is extremely vulnerable to damaging storm surges just for its geography, and climate change is increasing that risk."

State governor Andrew Cuomo is now considering a storm surge barriers - which could cost up to \$10bn - or a levee system.

"The construction of this city did not anticipate these kinds of situations. We are only a few feet above sea level," he said.

"As soon as you breach the sides of Manhattan, you now have a whole infrastructure under the city that fills - the subway system, the foundations for buildings."

With at least 50 people killed along the east coast - most by falling trees - and millions affected by the high winds, power cuts and flooding, President Barack Obama cancelled campaign appearances in key state Ohio to oversee the government response.

He is due to visit New Jersey to survey some of the widespread devastation caused by superstorm Sandy in eastern US and Canada.

He described the disaster as "heartbreaking for the nation".

Manhattan's financial district .

Much of the Manhattan skyline was still in darkness on Tuesday night and it is feared it could be days before electricity is restored to some of those cut off.

Forecasters predict the storm could end up causing around \$20bn (£12bn) worth of damages in the US.

"Rainfall totals could reach around 6-8 inches, and winds will remain gale force in strength.

"The forecast suggests that the centre of the low will move northwards from western Pennsylvania into the west of New York and then into Quebec by Thursday."

Businesses and homes along New Jersey's shore were wrecked and communities were submerged under floodwater across a large area on Tuesday.

After seeing pictures of the shore, State Governor Chris Christie said: "The devastation is unthinkable."

A strong supporter of fellow Republican Mr Romney, Mr Christie also praised Mr Obama's federal response to the disaster.

Amid the despair, talk of recovery was already beginning.

"It's heartbreaking after being here 37 years," Barry Prezioso of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, said as he returned to his house in the coastal community to survey the damage.

"You see your home demolished like this, it's tough. But nobody got hurt and the upstairs is still livable, so we can still live upstairs and clean this out. I'm sure there's people that had worse. I feel kind of lucky."

The storm reached as far inland as Ohio and caused thousands of flight cancellations , while mobile phone network outages also were widespread.

Meanwhile, parts of West Virginia were buried under 3ft (1m) of drifting snow from the storm.

Mr Obama has issued federal emergency decrees and declared "major disasters" in both New Jersey and New York.

Speaking during a visit to Red Cross headquarters in Washington, he said: "New Jersey, New York in particular have been pounded by this storm. Connecticut has taken a big hit."

More than 80 homes in New York City's borough of Queens were destroyed in a fire caused by the storm.

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg , who toured the area, said: "To describe it as looking like pictures we've seen of the end of World War Two is not overstating it. The area was completely levelled.

"Chimneys and foundations were all that was left of many of these homes."

Neighbour John Frawley, 57, said: "I stayed up all night. The screams. The fire. It was horrifying."

Hundreds of miles away from Sandy's turbulent centre, winds were churning up the waters of Lake Michigan to near record levels.

Officials in Chicago warned people to stay away from the lakefront, and parts of the bicycle path along the shore was closed.

The strong wind and rain has had other unexpected consequences.

Police in New Haven said a skeleton was revealed beneath the town green that may have been there since Colonial times.

Police spokesman David Hartman said a woman was with other bystanders looking at a fallen oak tree, and spotted bones in the upturned roots.

Hurricane Sandy - which was reclassified as a post-tropical storm upon making US landfall - had already killed 69 people in the Caribbean.

We pray for the millions who are affected by this tragedy and that those who do not know the Lord will repent and accept him before it is too late.

SEVEN YEARS TO THE DAY AND HURRICANE ISAAC IS VISITING

I was reading the first 3 chapters of the book of Romans this morning and was reminded once again of the similarity of the Sin of Pauls day and now.  The total disregard of Gods laws has brought nothing but calamity upon many Nations around the World.

I then opened my email box and recieved the following report:

I am STRUCK by the understanding of the seven-year period since Hurricane Katrina. SEVEN YEARS AGO, Katrina struck New Orleans during the WEEK OF THE HOMOSEXUAL CONVENTION known as "SOUTHERN DECADENCE."

Now Hurricane Isaac is scheduled to hit New Orleans once again - exactly SEVEN YEARS LATER TO THE DAY (August 29th) on the first day of the "Southern Decadence" annual convention. How much more blatant can the King of the Universe be? He gave this nation a grave warning, and then - according to His great mercy - He gave us SEVEN YEARS to REPENT.

In Hebraic understanding, seven years means "completion." The opportunity for repentance is complete, but this nation (United States) has not only refused to repent of this sin, which God calls an abomination (Leviticus 20:13), but it has greatly encouraged and promoted it, from state to state and throughout the U.S. military.

The word Isaac means "laughter." Psalm 2:4 "He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the LORD shall hold them in derision." Psalm 37:11-13: "The wicked plot against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The LORD laughs at him, for He sees that his day is coming."

I do not believe this means our God is taking delight in wiping out the wicked (those who reject Him and scoff at His Word) ; but I do believe it means that He will NOT be mocked, and He WILL prove Himself to be a God of justice, who does what He says He will do.

Let us be sober-minded, friends, and let us be in much prayer for this nation as ISAAC churns toward the Gulf Coast... The timing of Hurricane Isaac with Southern Decadence is a sign that God's patience with America's sin is coming to an end.

I also read the book of Jude before I read the above report....and our dear Lord is not going to allow these terrible sins to go on and on....he will require an accounting from EVERYONE who supports this degrading practice.  The WORD of GOD tells us that we OBEY GOD as ruler in situations like this and not man made laws that declare this practice legal.

IDOLATRY WITHIN THE CHURCH THAT CLAIMS TO FOLLOW THE TRUTH

The sin of idolatry brought down God's awful wrath on His own people. It angered Him more than any other sin in the Old Testament, so much that He declared: "The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger" (Jeremiah 7:18).

This is God's declaration against idolatry in the Old Testament and He hates idolatry just as much today. It brings down His wrath on any generation, including these modern ones.

This very day the Orthodox Catholic World honours and worships the modern version of the Queen of heaven…Mary the mother of Jesus Christ the man. They actually teach that Mary never died but was taken to heaven and became our Lady Queen of Heaven…

This and other idolatry is sweeping across our world right now. It is not only people kneeling down before carved images; but modern idolatry seduces multitudes by its subtlety and craftiness. Yet it angers God just as much as any Old Testament idolatry.

"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of

Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed" (Galatians 1:6-8).

This ‘other gospel’ that Paul mentions is a message of salvation without the cross. Another great idolatry of our day is the casting aside of the message of the cross of Jesus Christ. Jehovah’s Witnesses claim to be Christian but reject the cross of Jesus as a pagan symbol.

The cross - including its demands and hopes - is the very root and foundation of the gospel. Any worship, any fellowship, anything calling itself a church is blatant idolatry if the cross is not at its centre. Such worship is of another spirit entirely and God will have nothing to do with it. Without the cross, all that is left is chaff - a perverted gospel, something from the pit of hell. It is more insulting to the Lord than the idolatry of Israel. Many claiming to be Christian no longer use the cross or have one in their place of worship, just in case it offends someone of another faith. Yet Jesus said:

"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me" (John 12:32). This "lifting up from the earth" Jesus mentions is his crucifixion. He was lifted up before the whole world on the cross, an image of His great sacrifice for our sins…

Do not be misled as Satan will use any method to divert our worship away from our dear Lord and his Father in heaven.

BRITAIN NOW BANNING THE TEACHING OF CREATION IN SCHOOLS

During this Olympics and celebration of what is 'British' we see a total rejection of all that Britain once stood for...a Bible believing Country that claimed Christianity as its faith.  Now the Humanist liberal Atheists are destroying every aspect of what Britain once stood for and just look at the results...a Country that is full of Violence, Greed and Total Censorship of anything decent.  Here is yet another example of this Atheistic teaching

Evidence for Creation now banned from UK religious education classes

The following article is from CMI (Creation Ministries International)

In January 2012, following a campaign by the British Humanist Association, the UK’s Department for Education had revised the regulations relating to government funded schools. We stated, based on press reports at the time, that those ‘free schools’ that teach creation or intelligent design in science lessons will, from now on, have their financial support withdrawn. However, now that the new free schools funding agreement has been published, it’s clear that the situation is far worse than was originally apparent. The new clause (24A) actually states that

‘[the school] shall not make provision in the context of any subject for the teaching, as an evidence-based view or theory, of any view or theory that is contrary to established scientific and/or historical evidence and explanations.’4

Since it would be understood that the theory of evolution is ‘established science’ and that ‘any subject’ would include Religious Education, it would appear that this effectively prohibits any discussion of the scientific evidence for creation in any classroom.

Hence, the only view of origins that can be presented to the youngsters as ‘evidenced based’ is the one that infers that the universe has ‘no purpose, no evil and no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.’

Hence, the only view of origins that can be presented to the youngsters as ‘evidenced based’ is the one that, in the words of Richard Dawkins, infers that the universe has ‘no purpose, no evil and no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference’, that we are no more than biochemical machines ‘dancing to our DNA’ and that people are not responsible for their actions.5 Indeed, they are to be taught that the only rational explanation for their existence is the belief system that paved the way for the killing of millions in Soviet Russia,6 World War I,7 World War II,8 and the Holocaust.9 At the same time, teachers are forbidden from telling their students that there is any evidence for the view that people are made in the image of God (and that they therefore have intrinsic value), or that the creationist world-view that led to the rise of science10 was based on anything other than religious ignorance. Moreover, it would seem inadmissible to teach that the practice of the Christian faith, which led to the abolition of slavery, the founding of hospitals, schools and many other charitable institutions, that taught honesty, respect and self-sacrifice, was based on anything other than a belief in unsupportable myths.

Blatant censorship

It is very hard to see how this kind of censorship can be justified by rational argument. Can you imagine the scenario in which some student asks the teacher, “What are the scientific arguments presented by creationists?” What might be the answer? Perhaps the teacher would be honest and reply, “Well, I’m not allowed to tell you, otherwise our school will lose its funding. However, if you talk to me outside the school gates, I can answer your question.”

Those who have been gifted by God in scientific ability, and are privileged to hold high positions in our top academic institutions, have a serious responsibility to faithfully testify to the truth.

According to the results of a survey reported in The Guardian, 29% of UK teachers believe that creationism and intelligent design should be taught in science classes. Moreover, nearly 50% said they believed that excluding alternatives to evolution was counter-productive and would alienate pupils from science.11 If this is what teachers feel about science lessons, how will they react to the exclusion of such discussions from religious education classes?

The depths to which anti-creationists will now stoop to prevent children hearing about alternatives to evolution beggar belief. For example, simply because he expressed the view that children should be allowed to raise doubts about the theory of evolution in their science classes and discuss alternative views of origins, committed evolutionist Professor Michael Reiss was forced to resign his position as the Royal Society’s Director of Education. Dr Jerry Bergman, in his book, Slaughter of the Dissidents,12 has documented numerous cases of Darwin dissenters in the USA facing demotion, loss of career or job, denial of degrees, and even personal threats.

Moreover, it is surely significant that all this is happening at a time when there have never been so many scientific facts challenging the Darwinian paradigm. The more the evidence points away from naturalistic processes as the explanation for our existence, the more desperate secularists become and the more draconian the regulations they press for in their attempts to hide this.

The Altenberg 16

Recently, evolutionist Suzan Mazur published a book entitled, The Altenberg 16: An Exposé of the Evolution Industry.13 (See Walter ReMine’s excellent review in the January 2012 edition of Journal of Creation.14) The Altenberg 16 is a group of top university academics who met together at a symposium held at Altenberg in Austria in 2008. According to Mazur, these leading evolutionary scientists ‘recognize that the theory of evolution which most practicing biologists accept and which is taught in classrooms today, is inadequate in explaining our existence.’15 Some of the delegates would clearly go further. According to molecular biologist, Professor Antonio Lima-de-Faria, not only is the Darwinian paradigm wrong, but it ‘actually hinders discovery of the mechanism of evolution.’16 Professor Massimo Piattelli-Palmarini spoke for a number in stating simply that natural selection ‘is not the way new species and new classes and new phyla originated.’17 Professor Jerry Fodor confessed, ‘I don’t think anybody knows how evolution works.’18 If scientists can’t point to natural process that can drive evolution, why should evolution be taught as science in school classrooms?

The centre piece of the Altenberg symposium was a paper produced by Stuart Newman, Professor of Cell Biology and Anatomy at New York Medical College.19 In this he proposed that complex life is the result of ‘self-organization’. But what is the evidence that such a process exists? Entering into the evolutionists’ mindset this is not difficult to answer:

(1) evolution is a fact

(2) undirected processes cannot explain the complexity of life

(3) evolution must, therefore, be the result of a directed, ‘self-organizing’ process.

It is, however, untenable that a natural process, capable of building something as complex as the human brain, is apparently unobservable.

A time to stand up and be counted

The Altenberg 16 are clearly not the only scientists who recognize the bankruptcy of Darwin’s theory.20 Indeed, there can be little doubt that many top academics know this and, moreover, they know that there is simply no tenable alternative theory. Government education ministers, generally, have little knowledge of science and rely on advisors. If they only hear from their advisors the view that evolution is established science, who can blame them for believing this to be true?

Those who have been gifted by God in scientific ability, and are privileged to hold high positions in our top academic institutions, have a serious responsibility to faithfully testify to the truth—as Jesus said, “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked” (Luke 12:48). Unless such people make the facts clear to the government, the next generation will be raised believing all the same dogma that led to the most godless, despotic, murderous regimes ever known in history.

We are certainly living in the times the prophets spoke about...stay firm and keep praying

FALSE PROPHETS, GLOBAL DECEPTION AND DANGEROUS CULTS

I was sent the following article by a Ministry that warns of deception within the church....this warning is by Lee Grady who is very well known amongst Charismatic Christians.
FALSE PROPHETS, FOREIGN CHARLATANS and GLOBAL DECEPTION

-by J. Lee Grady.

Chris Oyakhilome, a popular African preacher with questionable credentials, is sparking international concern.  When I arrived in eastern Europe·a few days ago I learned that Romanian Christians have quite a spiritual battle on their hands.

Believers here struggled for years under communism. But now that they are free, they face an equally sinister struggle against cults, New Age teachings and-worst of all-charlatans who claim to be powerful Christian prophets.

One of the most controversial figures in Romania today is Chris Oyakhilome, a Nigerian broadcaster and faith healer who lives in South Africa. Although this smooth-talking preacher has never been to Romania, his influence has grown through his TV programs and books. Meanwhile, some gullible Romanian church leaders have visited his ministry base in Johannesburg and then returned to impart his miracle power to their congregations.

But Oyakhilome´s "power" is questionable-and it is spreading not only in eastern Europe but in many other parts of the world, including the United States.

You may have never heard of Oyakhilome, but don´t be surprised if his programs soon appear on a Christian television station near you. The founder of a movement called Christ Embassy, which began in Lagos, Nigeria, Oyakhilome already has 16 churches in the U.S., mostly attracting African immigrants in cities such as Dallas, Houston, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta. He has 39 churches in the United Kingdom (where many Nigerians live) and 18 in Canada, and his daily devotional books called Rhapsody of Realities are supposedly available in 70 languages.

Why is he so controversial? Consider a few facts:

Nigerian Christians have long complained that Christ Embassy is a cult-mainly because members reportedly are forced to give money in offerings and are pressured to marry only within their church. Oyakhilome was accused of engineering a money laundering scheme in Nigeria in 2010, and questions swirl around his finances because of his glamorous lifestyle.

Theologians and cult-monitoring groups have documented their concerns about Oyakhilome´s "New Creation" doctrine-a form of gnosticism that says after a person becomes a Christian, any sin they commit is only in the body and will not affect the spirit.

Oyakhilome mixes this doctrine with a hybrid version of the American prosperity gospel, claiming that God wants all people to be rich.

Oyakhilome´s reputation as a faith healer was tarnished badly in 2008 in Johannesburg when a man told a Soweto newspaper that Christ Embassy offered him more than $1,200 (U.S.) to sit in a wheelchair and pretend to be crippled until Oyakhilome prayed for him. The man went to the media instead of taking the money, sparking concerns that healings were being faked to impress growing crowds.

Perhaps most disturbing is Oyakhilome´s connection with T.B. Joshua, a Nigerian occult healer who leads a mysterious group called The Synagogue, Church of All Nations. Joshua, who claims his mother carried him in her womb for 15 months because he was a special prophet, mixes Pentecostal fervor with pagan spirituality. After coming under Joshua´s influence a few years ago, Oyakhilome began copying some of his bizarre mannerisms.

When I came to Romania last week I was surprised to learn how many Christians here had come under Oyakhilome´s influence.  But as I did further research I found that Oyakhilome´s popularity is growing far beyond eastern Europe. Thanks to YouTube, Internet TV channels and a public that is often biblically illiterate, Christians today are as vulnerable as ever to religious impostors and deceptive con-artists.

Jude, the brother of Jesus, warned us 2,000 years ago about such false prophets. "For certain persons have crept in unnoticed ...ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ" (Jude 4, NASB).

Paul also warned that people will demand false teachers to fulfill their lusts, and that those teachers will "turn away their ears from the truth" (2 Tim. 4:3-4). Those ancient words are painfully relevant today.

Some Romanian church leaders have sounded an alarm. One of them, Ioan Peia, released a public warning in 2011 listing various false doctrines promoted by Oyakhilome. Peia urged Romanian church leaders to "repent and ask God´s forgiveness, and ask the forgiveness of our brothers, because we allowed a part of these teachings to be spread among us and through us."

I feel I must sound an alarm as well. As much as I want to see healing miracles restored to the church today, I´m not willing to fling open the door to deception. The devil can fake miracles, and if we don´t apply discernment in this vulnerable hour, impostors will sneak into the church and unleash their doctrines-with
deadly results. Please don´t be duped by counterfeits.

End of Article........

The imposters within the Church cause far more damage than the enemies outside...because many trust what these false teachers preach just because they use a few verses from the Bible out of context.

The enemy is certainly sowing many dangerous teachings within the world of mankind....stay focused on the true teachings from Gods Word.

Blessings

RICK WARREN ISLAMIC CONFUSION……MODERN BABYLON

An article in the Orange County Register reports that Rick Warren, the man known as “America’s Pastor,” has launched a new program called “King’s Way,” the purpose of which is to promote peace and unity between Muslims and Christians.

As part of their effort to promote their mutual goals, Warren’s pastoral staff and local Muslim leaders have co-authored a document outlining the points of agreement between Muslims and Christians. It affirms that both Muslims and Christians together believe in “one God” and share the “love of God” and “love of neighbor.”

The document also include a mutual commitment to three goals: Making friends with one another, building peace and working on shared social service projects. The document quotes verses from the Bible and the Quran side-by-side as the authoritative basis to support its goals.

According to Abraham Meulenberg, a Saddleback pastor, and Jihad Turk, director of religious affairs at a Los Angeles mosque, King’s Way represents opening “a path to end the 1,400 years of misunderstanding between Muslims and Christians.”

But beyond this, according to Turk, both groups also agreed not to evangelize each other.

What becomes immediately apparent is that while making friends with Muslims is certainly an admirable goal, Warren has prioritized the three goals of making friends, building peace and working together on shared social service projects over and above the commandment of Jesus to baptize and make disciples throughout the inhabited world. Matthew 28:19, 20

Warren has made statements to the effect that the Orange County Register article contained errors. The editors have disagreed, arguing that all of their facts are entirely accurate.

One critic has accurately commented that rather than obeying the Great Commission and creating disciples of the Jesus of the Bible, Warren is “building a Tower of Babel that leads to nowhere.”

When ‘Christian’ groups join together with other groups that have such fundamentally divergent goals and doctrines, the danger is always compromise. Throughout the Old Testament, the commandment of God to the Israelites was to never enter into agreements, covenants or marriages with the surrounding peoples, lest the Israelites would find themselves led away to worship other gods. In such a post-modern culture, these concepts may sound amazingly intolerant, but the wisdom of the Lord’s proscription against treaties and partnerships is seen in Warren’s agreement not to evangelize his Muslim “friends” and co-laborers for mutual social causes.

The commandment is no less pressing today. The concept of holiness biblically has always revolved around the idea of separation. The Lord takes covenants, agreements and partnerships very seriously and commands us not to enter into partnerships with those who possess such antagonistic views toward the most essential biblical doctrines of the Trinity, the Incarnation and the Divine son-ship of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Beyond this, while the ultimate emphasis of biblical hope is messianic, looking for the return of Jesus, Muslims await another Jesus who returns to literally abolish Christianity. If Warren was pursuing friendships for the purpose of evangelism, this would be in keeping with Jesus Christ’s command. However it is quite clear that Warren is pursuing another agenda far more in line with the spirit of the age than with the goals of the early Christian Church.

Of course, Warren has already faced his share of criticism in the past from some evangelicals who argue that he is promoting “Chrislam,” a vague term used to refer to the unholy merging of Islam and Christianity. On his Pastors.com website, Warren has categorically denied the claims, stating that the “rumor is 100 percent false. … My life and ministry are built on the truth that Jesus is the only way, and our inerrant Bible is our only true authority.”

Warren’s Muslim neighbor has commented that he was neighbors with Warren for years before he found out that he was a Christian. Whilst it is apparent that Warren emphasizes friendship and neighborliness, in light of such comments, one must wonder how much value Pastor Warren truly places on Christian evangelism.

Gwynne Guibord, an Episcopal priest and co-founder of a Los Angeles outreach group that fosters relationships between Christians and Muslims, says, “I think that many evangelicals feel a mandate to convert people to Christianity.”

Other well-known evangelicals have agreed with Guibord’s rejection of efforts to convert others to Christianity. Carl Medearis, an American speaker on the subject of Islam and Christianity, in comments posted on the Biblical Missiology website, stated, “Encouraging people to join the religion of Christianity is actually heresy. Jesus would have been against it if there were a religion called Christianity (which there wasn’t, of course).”

But Medearis and other critics of the concept of “Christianity” fail to consider 1 Peter 4:16-17 where the apostle made the following very clear statement: “However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?”

Beyond this, Jesus’ commandment to baptize and make disciples in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is an unequivocal call to make converts who make public confessions and identify with a visible community and a specific creed.

In response to what many pastors, theologians and missiologists feel is a wide-spread slide toward compromise and outright syncretism, several scholarly and media-related works have recently been produced.

While some may argue that Rick Warren’s efforts are in line with what they understand to be the mission of the Church, the slippery slope is seen in syncretistic expression and practices of the Insider Movement, which may truly be called “Chrislam.” While Warren and numerous other well-meaning Christian(?) missionaries who endorse and practice the C5 or Insider methodology believe that they are serving Jesus, their methods always lead to dishonesty, blurring the lines of truth, compromise and eventually outright heresy.

This is very serious amongst the people who truly love and worship the only true God and his Son Yeshua. This is all a part of the great apostasy, that the Bible warned against and is an attempt to wipe out true Christianity and replace it with the Babylonian One World Religion…that is ultimately controlled by the ‘Ruler of the Air’ Satan the Devil.  Be careful and reject anything that brings in another teaching....

Blessings

FALSE ANGELS NOW BEING PROMOTED WITHIN THE CHURCH

I thought this article by Jennifer LeClaire an Editor with the Charisma magazine was very important and highlights the very danger we have been aware of for some time.  Much of the 'church' is getting swayed by New Age teachings that sound good, but are full of death dealing poison.  Here is the article:

ARTICLE

I recently heard a prophetic word that described an angelic visitation.  Of course, I am all for angelic visitations. Both the Old and New Testament offer plenty of examples of angels appearing to people
to deliver heavenly messages. But this angel apparently had a creative name. Its name was supposedly "Safe Passage."

It grieves me that we have to go around this mountain yet again in the body of Christ. Wasn´t the controversy over Emma - the female angel who purportedly started the modern-day prophetic movement
enough to put an end to this sort of nonsense? Apparently not. Let me be clear: There is no angel named Emma and there is no angel named Safe Passage - and it´s assignment is not to escort you safely into new opportunities or to clear fearsome corners and honor your unsung courage.

However, if you Google the keywords "angel safe passage," you might see where a misguided prophetic pen could draw such erroneous inspiration. There´s a Safe Passage playing card that´s a prominent "white angel" in a Dungeons & Dragons-style game.

In this context, "Safe Passage" is a sorcerer. On the more benign side, "Safe Passage" was the title of a script for a 1997 episode of Touched by an Angel. Either way, there is no God-sent angel named Safe Passage.

It just so happened that when I stumbled upon the so-called revelation of this angel named Safe Passage I was already studying the topic of angels. In fact, I was in the midst of reading Dr. Lester Sumrall´s Angels to Help You for a second time.  Sumrall offered abundant Scripture about the reality of angels, the categories of angels-including their names and ranks - what angels do, what angels know, angels and prophecy, what kind of people receive angelic service, and much more.

Angels are real. Angels are mentioned 108 times in the Old Testament and 165 times in the New Testament. Angels are messengers. Angels are innumerable. The Bible mentions three angels by name: Michael, Gabriel and Lucifer. But beyond that, you have to go to religions like Zoroastrianism to find the names of angels.

Zoroastrianism, also called Mazdaism, is a religion based on a self-styled prophet named Zoroaster (also known as Avestan or Zarathustra). Zoroastrianism was once among the largest religions in the world, a political power in pre-Islamic Iran. Mazdaism believers prayed to angels like Ameretat, Asha Vahishta and Vohu Mano for protection.

In modern times, the New Age movement has an A-to-Z list of named angels, some of which are supposedly rooted in Scripture. There´s Abdiel, the professed "Angel of Faith." At the end of the
New Age list, you´ll find Zuriel, the "Angel of Harmony" who has dominion over the sun sign of Libra.

As you can see, false teaching about angels has been circulating the world since before Christ was born and well after He ascended to the right hand of the Father. False teachings about angels was an issue in the early church and it´s an issue in the end-time church. "And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into
an angel of light" (2 Cor. 11:14).

Paul had an apostolic message for those who hyper-focused on angels and their "teachings" at the expense of exalting Christ. Paul was so bold as to say that if he - or an angel from heaven - preached any other gospel than the gospel of Christ he should be accursed (Gal. 1:8). Those are pretty strong words and ones
that should be heeded before we preach sermons or pen articles that exalt angels.

Paul also said, "Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God" (Col. 2:18-19).

Matthew Henry, an 18th century minister whose well-known commentary provides an exhaustive verse-by-verse study of the Bible, gets to the root of such angel exaltation: "They advanced those notions to gratify their own carnal fancy, and were fond of being thought wiser than other people. Pride is at the bottom of
a great many errors and corruptions, and even of many evil practices, which have great show and appearance of humility."

Yes, angels are ministering spirits sent forth to minister to those who will inherit salvation (Heb. 1:14). That´s us! Angels are sent to execute God´s Word. By revelation of the Holy Spirit, David wrote, "Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word" (Ps.103:20).

Angels stand ready to obey the Word of God and bring it to pass. Yes, in a way angels may help provide us with safe passage.  When we make the Lord our dwelling place, no evil shall befall us nor shall any plague come near our dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over us, to keep us in all our ways. In their hands they shall bear us up, lest we dash our foot against a stone (Psalm 91:9-12). But there is no angel named Safe Passage, at least none of God´s angels.

One last thought: John mistakenly fell down to worship at the feet of an angel who had shown him the revelations he recorded in the book of Revelation. The angel immediately told him to worship God (Rev. 22:8-9). We don´t know the name of this angel. If it were important, the Holy Spirit would have revealed it. I suppose some in the modern church would name him "Revelation," - some may even claim "Revelation" is a female - and that would be yet another error.

Let me end with the words of Jesus Himself: "Take heed that no one deceives you... for false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect" (Mk 13:5; 22). Amen.

I do not personally read the Charisma magazine, as I find it usually highlights many of the preachers that I do not want to listen to or read about.  However this was sent to me as an email and I regard it as very important that the church knows about these deceptions that are carrying many away from the plain simple truth of Yeshua and his teachings.
